Petřík, Ladislav ; Jurková, Kateřina (advisor) ; Hrabík, Jan (referee)
Title: Awareness of strength conditioning training in junior basketball Aims: The main aim of the bachelor's thesis is to find out to what extent coaches of junior basketball categories use and work with strength conditioning training. It will be especially evaluated at what time of the season they use this training, what type of strength they primarily focus on, in what form they work with this method and whether they see a shift in their playing activities due to the use of strength training. Further, I describe the possible forms of strength training exercises designed for the development of these specific strengths. Methods: The thesis uses a questionnaire method, which aims to find out the experience of basketball coaches with strength training and in which part of the annual training season they use it most. The questionnaire also uses an interview method. The results are graphically processed using graphs and factual comments. I submit the questionnaire to individual clubs, completing is anonymous. Results: After finding out the theoretical basis from the literature and processing the results of the questionnaire survey, the awareness of youth basketball coaches about strength training of basketball was found. It was found that strength training is mainly used in the preparatory period of...
Comparison of explosive power in elite youth soccer players.
Horizral, Peter ; Bujnovský, David (advisor) ; Vampola, Jindřich (referee)
Title: Comparison of explosive power in elite youth soccer players Objective: The objective of this thesis was to determine the level of difference in selected parameters of the explosive strength of the lower limbs of elite youth soccer players between the age categories U14 and U15. Methods: The research set of this diploma thesis consisted of a total of 39 elite youth football players in the age category U15 and U14, who at the time of the test were players of the highest domestic football competition. The research group consisted of players of all playing positions (goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, forward). To analyze selected parameters of the explosive power of the lower limbs, a total of three types of vertical jump were used in laboratory conditions: vertical jump from a squat (English "squat jump"; SJ), vertical jump without arm swing (English "counter-movement jump; CMJ) and jump long jump ("broad jump" in English; BJ). The following parameters were analyzed: vertical jump height (cm) and long jump length (cm). Results: Statistical analysis found significant differences (p < 0.01) between monitored parameters. The analysis found a significant difference (p < 0.01) between squat vertical jump (SJ) and non-arm swing vertical jump (CMJ) height between the U15 and U14 groups. Older U15...

Title: Determination of performance standards for the hand release push-up - arm extension exercise for the needs of chemical troops of the Czech Army Land Forces Headquaters. Objectives: This thesis aims to determine the performance standards of the hand release push-up-arm extension exercise for the needs of chemical troops of the Czech Army Land Forces Headquarters. Methods: One hundred and fifty-nine professional soldiers (33,5 ± 7,1 years) from two different battalions within the Chemical Forces of the Czech Army Ground Forces Command (VePozS) participated in the standardized testing, which took place in May 2022. Participants performed an individual warm-up followed by a protocol to determine the highest number of repetitions during two minutes. It was an absolute - extreme test. Emphasis was placed on adherence to standard testing, i.e., reliability and validity conditions. This was ensured by trained physical education staff and calibrated digital stopwatches. Data analysis was carried out in Jamovi 2. 3. 5. Normality was calculated using the Shapiro-Wilk test, and norms were based on percentiles. The sample of one hundred and fifty soldiers was divided into men into three age categories. Norms were developed for these categories on a four-point scale with excellent, good, fair, and...

Title The effect of the winter preparation period torwards the explosive power in amateur football players Objectives To find out what efect has preparation period on explosive power of lower limbs at football players of the regional championship level. Methods Quantitative research was held as a motorical testing of football team Sokol Kolovraty (n = 20) during winter preparation period. To determine the development of explosive power of the lower limbs was selected 5 motoric tests: High jump from the spot, Four jump from foot to foot, Long jump from the spot, Triple jump on the left (right) leg, Deep forward bend in standing position. This study was so-called "cross over" study, or as crossover study in which the team was divided by randomization info two groups, group A and a group B. The first half of the study (4 weeks) the group A performer strength intervention and the group B a different running intervention. In the middle of the research, after control measurements, the group exchanged their intervetnions. Results Based on the Mix-design ANOVA I can state the results showed the statistical significance of strength intervention compared to running intervention without strength exercise. In all test fot the explosive power of the lowe limbs the positive changes occurred during the strength...
